Anne LEIS, PhD
Speech therapist, health psychologist and epidemiologist, Dr. Leis is Professor and Director of the Department of Public Health and Epidemiology of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. Since the 2000s, she has been involved in French-language healthcare and research to improve access to health services in French in Saskatchewan and elsewhere in Canada. She is leading the research component of the PHAC Départ Santé-Healthy Start project. She was President of the Saskatchewan French Health Network and is now the President of the Board of Société Santé en français. She is committed to improving the vitality of the Francophone communities across Canada.
