Réseau Santé – Nouvelle-Écosse
About Us
Réseau Santé – Nouvelle-Écosse brings together key stakeholders from the health care sector and the community to improve access to French-language health care services for Acadian and francophone Nova Scotians. We work with various partners, including provincial and federal government agencies, community and non-profit organizations, the IWK Health Centre and the Nova Scotia Health Authority, to support a wide range of projects.
Réseau Santé provides the Health Care in French at a Glance training to health care professionals and managers and works with the Department of Health and Wellness to maintain and update the directory of French-speaking health care professionals.
People who work in the health care field who speak French can make use of Réseau Santé’s Bonjour/Hello tools to let their patients/clients know that they can be served in French. Employees of the Nova Scotia Health Authority and the IWK Health Centre can make use of the Government of Nova Scotia’s Bonjour! program.
