Virtual Café de Paris – Informal space where employees practise their French
Improve the availability of Cafés de Paris by designing a results-oriented management and evaluation framework and a formative evaluation of the approach. Increase the availability of Cafés de Paris by adapting the model to a virtual delivery format, which will make it possible to reach health establishments in remote areas.
The Café de Paris is an informal space where employees can acquire or maintain basic French language skills, interact orally in French and obtain tools and resources to enable them to offer services in both official languages. The model was developed in New Brunswick.
This model is a best practice as it has had a positive impact on the ground, has demonstrated a high degree of transferability and has undergone rigorous evaluation.
