Summary of activity
The Réseau Santé en français de la Saskatchewan (RSFS) is supporting the FIN of Saskatchewan in raising awareness among key actors in the health system in order to identify barriers to accessing health services and newcomers’ inclusion in employment opportunities in the health field. Knowledge sharing will be used to clarify the demographic portrait of francophone immigrants, as well as the impacts of the health guidance project on the health of this population. The FIN may serve as a gateway for immigrants in order to document the barriers they experience. For its part, the RSFS is able to provide support to help settlement professionals better understand the health system and propose solutions to help reduce barriers.
