Société Santé en français (Société) is launching a call for project proposals to collaborate on improving access to French-language healthcare services for Francophone and Acadian minority communities in Canada.

Innovative health projects will be aligned with Société Santé en français’ new programming named Convergence 2028. This call and the resulting projects are made possible through funding from Health Canada’s Program for Official Languages Health Program (OLHP) and will aim to improve access to health services for Francophone and Acadian minority communities. Projects implemented in one or more of the following priority areas are encouraged: primary health services, home care, mental health, palliative and end-of-life care.

Initiatives must promote:

a) Integration of health human resources.

b) Development of knowledge on the health needs of Francophone and Acadian minority communities and on the capacity to offer services that improve community health (through increased access to health services); and/or

c) Adapting existing services to improve access to health services for Francophone and Acadian minority communities in one of the four priority areas above mentioned.
