Francophone and Acadian minority communities become engaged and equipped to take charge of their health and well-being in French
In order to have healthy communities, the communities themselves must take part in the organization of the services offered to them. It is important for Francophone and Acadian communities to demonstrate the need for active offer of French-language health services and engage in health governance.
The SSF and the networks are developing strong links with communities through community consultations and developmental initiatives. These help to identify communities’ health needs, to invite them to express those needs, and encourage health managers to include the community in their decision-making.
Successes for communities!
